If you are in Worcester this week, it will be worth taking a stroll to Worcester Cathedral to see ‘Nature in Art: An Exhibition by Worcestershire Artists’.
Why? It features OV Daisy Beedie’s (Os 14-21) GCSE painting. Also featured is David Birtwhistle, a former King’s parent, with his iconic Worcester scenery.
Having visited the exhibition, Liz Elliott (Co 82-84), Development Director, said, “The artwork on display represents various different styles from a number of Worcestershire artists and Daisy’s artwork has received comments from visitors to the show praising the vibrant and lively nature of her exhibition piece. She is the youngest artist in the show and her work complemented the wide diversity of other artwork. It is also always a pleasure to see David Birtwhistle’s paintings and recognise many familiar Worcestershire scenes.”
The exhibition is on until 12 September 2021.
