OV Ben Brings a Unique Café to Worcester
We were very excited to learn that a new and unique business has been opened by OV Ben Parker-Jones (Cl 93-00) with his wife, Katherine, in Worcester: The Dice Box.
The Dice Box is a board game café, the first of its kind in the city, with a library of over 500 board games ranging from classics to brand new releases. Alongside the board game offering, the Dice Box is a fully licensed café with a range of drinks and food on offer, and staff there to help with game choice, set up and any rules queries.
Ben explains further, “The original Dice Box is based in Leamington, where Katherine and I currently live. We started going regularly from its opening weekend, and when they announced that they were franchising we decided that Worcester would be the perfect place for a new venue. Katherine and I are both from Worcester originally, and board games have always been a big part of our lives, so this particular business and location seemed the perfect fit for us, and we think that we think that it will be an exciting addition to Worcester’s city centre. We are looking forward to welcoming anyone looking for a fun day or evening activity, and that over time we will see first-time customers become regular visitors.”
Congratulations Ben and Katherine on this exciting new venture – we can’t wait to visit!
