OV Peter’s Legacy
Our many thanks to OV, the late Peter Prestage (S 41-49) for kindly remembering The King’s School Worcester Development Trust in his Will. The photo shows Peter in his heyday at King’s, looking resplendent in his rowing blazer, cravat, and cap, sitting on the chair with their cox next to him!
Peter’s final visit to King’s had been to enjoy the annual OV Reunion Dinner in 2005, while in his seventies. As Peter had been living in New Zealand, it was understandably a distance to travel, but he kept in touch with the School through e-newsletters and emails.
Peter’s unexpected and generous legacy will have a great impact on the King’s bursary programme, for which we are very grateful. Support for the bursary programme via a legacy gift helps the King’s School Worcester Development Trust continue to fund places for talented pupils.
If you too are considering leaving a legacy to the King’s School Worcester Development Trust in your Will, there is no need to inform the School of your gift, but if you do, it gives us the opportunity to say thank you and properly recognise your generosity for a gift that will only take a few minutes to give, but which will live on for generations.
Please do seek professional advice when making, or updating, your Will.
