OV Millie’s Marvellous Awards

We are thrilled to hear about the impressive success that OV and fashion graduate Millie Connor (W 14-21) has achieved since leaving King’s.

While studying Fashion Design at Leeds Arts University, Millie won the FIDA Student Fashion Illustrator of the Year award in 2023 and triumphed in a university competition to create a collection for Clothsurgeon on Savile Row, London, earning a three-week internship as a result.

After completing her final collection, she was one of only four students selected to showcase her work on the catwalk at Graduate Fashion Week in London. In addition, the Graduate Fashion Foundation offers students the opportunity to win various awards, and Millie was shortlisted for both the Illustration Award and the Hillary-Alexander Sustainability Award. She shared, “I had to present my work to key figures in the industry, and it was incredibly nerve-wracking!”
