Curiosity and Teamwork at Year 4 Science Extravaganza
On Tuesday, our Year 4 King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s children came together at the Senior School for an exciting Science Extravaganza day. In the morning they worked collaboratively with peers to build a bridge spanning a river, showcasing determination, team work and creativity.
In the Chemistry Lab in the afternoon, Senior School Chemistry Teacher, Miss Arnold wowed them with a science show of fascinating experiments with colour-changing solutions and fire.
After which the pupils created their own experiments together using chromatic paper to create troll hair. The day was both educational and entertaining, sparking curiosity and excitement. It was wonderful to see the children not only come together as one but also to see them engaged in hands-on learning and enjoying the wonders of science!
