Nursery Admissions
With children able to start King’s Hawford as soon as they turn two, nursery admission in Worcestershire takes place throughout the year. We encourage families to come and visit our nursery (King’s Hawford Kindergarten) at any time and our admissions team would be happy to arrange an appointment. We also run regular Open Days and Private Tours across the year where prospective families can learn all about our wonderful Worcester Nursery.
Joining Our Kindergarten
Our experienced staff at King’s Hawford work with children and their families to ensure that when the time comes to start nursery the settling in process is as smooth as possible. Ahead of starting at King’s Hawford, we will arrange for you to meet our staff in our Kindergarten setting for a profile meeting. This will give you the chance to familiarise yourself with our team and ask any questions that you might have. It also gives our staff the chance to get know your child and identify their needs.
Fees (from April 2026)
King’s Hawford Kindergarten is open Monday to Friday between 07.45 and 18.00 for 50 weeks of the year. We offer either year-round care or term-time only contracts in line with the term dates across the King’s Foundation.
We encourage booking a minimum of four sessions to help your child settle into a consistent routine (a full day being two sessions).

The price includes lunch for the morning session and snacks and enrichment activities. Activities may include:
- Forest School
- PE
- Swimming
- German lessons
- Cooking
- Music and movement lessons
- Visits to the Library Bus
- Access to a dedicated Early Years Garden
- Countryside walks
Additional enrichment activities may be offered during term time at additional cost. For example:
- Rugby Tots
- Ballet
Late Charge: All children must be collected by 6.00pm. Please note, our day-care team work very hard to ensure that your child has a fantastic time and we reserve the right to charge an additional fee of £10 per child per 15 minutes for late pick up. The school reserves the right to make additional charges for persistent lateness.
Government Funding for Childcare
We do offer government funding for 2 – 4 year olds. Please see the full information about our Term Time Offering or All Year Round Offering.
Personal Accident Insurance
All children will be covered by the schools personal accident insurance.
