On Thursday 2 September, we were absolutely delighted to hold the first full OV Reunion since lockdown in March 2020.
It was such a pleasure to see over 170 OVs from the years of 2019, 2020 and 2021 in the School Gardens for a BBQ and drinks. After such a long and tumultuous period, it was so much fun to see everyone together again and to hear of the continued resilience, innovation and successes of our OVs, perfectly mirroring the attitudes exhibited by current pupils and staff here at King’s Worcester.
It was wonderful to hear of how well everyone is doing in their places of work or in their studies, and to find that postponed travel plans are now in the process of being rearranged.
OVs enjoyed seeing each other and their former teachers again as well as hearing a few words from Headmaster, Gareth Doodes.
Always a sign of a good OV reunion, the event finished well past the intended end time and the OVs headed on into Worcester afterwards to continue the reunion celebrations.
