OV in World Record Attempt!

We are wishing OV Harry Guy (Ch 10-17) all the best as he and University of Edinburgh boat club friend Hugh are attempting a world record attempt on Wednesday 1st July!

They will be attempting to break the world record for the lightweight two-man indoor rowing 24 hour row.  Harry has fond memories of the 24 hour rows that he used to do while at King’s. They are fundraising for two charities, Harry for the Alzheimer’s Society and Hugh for Mental Health Research UK.

Currently, the record stands at 350km, and they hope to break this by taking turns powering a single rowing machine over a 24 hour period.
