OV Role at Rugby World Cup

This week OV Rowan Kitt (Ch 77-87) is working hard at the Rugby World Cup in Japan in his role as TMO!

He has been the TMO (Television Match Official) for three matches so far this world cup and will next be on duty on Saturday 28th September for the Argentina v Tonga game. Rowan works alongside the referee to ensure that fair decisions are made with regards foul play and allowing tries, penalties etc. It is a fast-paced and high pressure job and it is a huge honour and responsibility for Rowan.

Rowan is pictured here with Anthony Buchanan, Chair of World Rugby referees and Sir Bill Beaumont, Chairman of World Rugby, former captain of The Lions and England rugby teams.
