Pupils Selected for Worcestershire U13 Regional Tournament

Six pupils currently in the Lower Years, and formerly of King’s St Alban’s and King’s Hawford, were selected to represent Worcestershire Under 13s in an end-of-season regional hockey tournament in Coventry, marking an impressive achievement for the young hockey players.

The pupils were chosen to be part of the two Worcestershire squads, each made up of 10 players, for the competition held on Sunday 3 May. Millie and Marnie, both in L4, were selected alongside Harriet, Jetta, Millie and Lottie from U4.

The Worcestershire sides went on to dominate the tournament, finishing as Midlands Champions in a superb display of hockey. Their selection and success are a wonderful reflection of both their individual talent they continue to demonstrate at the senior school, as well as the strong sporting foundations built during their time at King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s.

This latest success is source of great pride for the whole King’s community – congratulations to all of you.
