OUR STRATEGY
The King’s School Worcester Foundation stands at a defining moment in its history. Rooted in a heritage that stretches back nearly five centuries, we remain steadfast in our mission: to nurture a curious, caring, and confident community through a Future focused education that empowers every pupil to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
This Strategic Plan for 2026-2031 charts an ambitious course for the next five years. It builds on the strengths of our three schools and reflects the aspirations of our entire community – pupils, parents, staff, Governors, alumni, and partners. Collectively, we have shaped a vision that honours our past while embracing the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow.

OUR VISION
As one of England’s historic cathedral foundation schools, re-founded by King Henry VIII in 1541 but with roots reaching back to the early Christian mission of St Wulstan and St Oswald, King’s Worcester stands proudly in the heart of this ancient city. We honour our rich heritage and sacred cathedral foundation while preparing our pupils to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
We are a community guided by a Christian ethos, where every individual is welcomed and nurtured to become curious, caring, and confident.
Our vision is to offer an outstanding, future-focused education that empowers pupils to flourish – intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually – and to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
Inspired by the resilience and moral purpose of our founding saints, we encourage all members of our community to Work Hard, Play Hard, and Look After Each Other. Our past is profound, our present is purposeful, and our future is full of promise.
