Established in 1895
Established by Headmaster, William Bolland in 1895, the Old Vigornian Club is the alumni association for former pupils of the King’s Foundation. All former pupils are ‘Old Vigornians’ or ‘OVs’. The official Club colours are dark blue and white (the School colours) and chocolate brown; OV ties (first sold in 1900) are available to purchase, along with other merchandise items. Meetings and Dinner
Organised by a committee, which meets in Worcester three times each year. The Club’s Annual General Meeting also takes place during the same weekend.
Annual Reunion Dinner
The Annual Reunion Dinner is the highlight of the OV Club’s year. Around 150 OVs and guests attend this black-tie function, traditionally held in College Hall, in September. The evening includes a drinks reception and a three-course dinner, followed by speeches by the President of the OV Club and the Headmaster. OVs can enjoy displays from the School Archive as well as lively conversation and the chance to meet up with old friends.
The most recent Annual Reunion Dinner took place on 14th September 2024 in College Hall at King’s, Worcester. This included a speech from Acting Head, Dr Alison Oliver, which you can read in full HERE.

Annual General Meeting
The Club’s AGM, held around the same time as the Annual Reunion Dinner, elects the OV President and ratifies OV Club accounts and Committee decisions. This is an opportunity for any OV to raise an issue, stand for election or hold the Committee to account.
The 2024 AGM was held on Saturday 14 September 2024.
The 2025 AGM will be held on Saturday 13 September 2025 at 6pm in the Mulberry Marquee. Items of business for inclusion in the agenda, as well as apologies, can be sent to honsec@oldvigornians.org.uk
The Vigornian Magazine
The annual school magazine, The Vigornian, includes news from OVs and is distributed to subscribers. Subscriptions can be purchased for five or ten years; for further details, please contact the Alumni Relations Office on 01905 721737 or on alumni@ksw.org.uk
