Community Triumph: Children Raise £3,400 Through Swimming Challenge
The King’s St Alban’s community has come together in a brilliant show of support for the swimming challenge undertaken by KSA children (and staff!). In a collective effort, the children swam an astounding 151 kilometers, which equates to an impressive 6038 lengths of the pool.
Through their determination and the generous sponsorship of friends, families, and community members, we have successfully raised £3,400. This money will go a long way towards supporting the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) and their vital work.
We are thrilled to announce that representatives from the RLSS will be visiting our school to personally in the coming weeks and extend their thanks to the children for their efforts. This visit will be a proud moment for all involved, as it highlights the impact of our community’s collective action.
A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Kilbey and the KSA sports staff, whose guidance and encouragement were instrumental in this achievement. Their support helped the children push their limits and accomplish something special for this swimming challenge.
Lastly, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the children whose hard work and perseverance made this possible. Your commitment has demonstrated the power of teamwork and perseverance.
We look forward to welcoming the RLSS to our school and celebrating this wonderful accomplishment with all those who contributed. Thank you once again to everyone involved for making a difference.
