Foundation Pupils Come Together for Maths Challenge
Pupils from across the King’s Foundation came together for a fantastic morning of maths at King’s Hawford on Wednesday.
Year 5 children from King’s Hawford and King’s St Alban’s worked alongside Lower Sixth students to solve a series of maths challenges in teams.
The morning consisted of several rounds, with the highlight being a fun ‘maths relay’, where the younger children had to solve problems and then race to their Sixth Form buddies with the answer.
All the children did exceptionally well, with the eventual winning team including Dan A, (L6), himself a former Hawfordian.
The morning was a fantastic example of pupils across all our schools coming together in a fun and exciting activity, testament to the strong King’s community of which we are incredibly proud.
