Success for King’s Rowers at Wycliffe Big Boats Head

On 1^st February, over 70 members of the King’s Boat Club travelled to the annual Wycliffe Big Boats Head race on the Gloucester – Sharpness Canal.

Pupils from Upper Remove to Upper Sixth were excited to be back racing on the water in this first event of the season.

King’s rowers performed well in the tough fields, with races contested by clubs and schools from around the country.  Conditions were great for rowing and the spectators lining the banks were rugged up for the wintry conditions.
