Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

School trips and residential adventures provide experiences to enrich our children’s learning and have a profoundly positive impact on their well-being. Friendships are made and strengthened as the children embrace freedom; memories of which can last a lifetime.

Our current programme of trips really does enrich our curriculum and helps to foster curiosity and the desire to learn in our children. We make full use of the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Highlights include trips to Worcester Infirmary, the Hive, Smite Farm, the Severn Valley Railway, and Worcester Cathedral. Further afield, we make use of our own outdoor activity centre, the Old Chapel, and our Year 6 pupils embrace the opportunity to visit Normandy to practise their French, experience the culture, and broaden their minds.

Our residential trips start in Year 2 and include:

  • Year 2 – Malvern Outdoor Elements
  • Year 3 – Oaker Wood Leisure
  • Year 4 – Old Chapel
  • Year 5 – Sports Tour
  • Year 6 – Old Chapel and Normandy.
