Reception Take Flight in Their Transport Topic

Reception have enjoyed an exciting week of learning, focusing on the theme of transport while also finding creative ways to keep cool during the warm weather.

The children explored a variety of different forms of transport, sharing their impressive knowledge and discovering fascinating facts along the way. They were particularly captivated by the size and scale of cruise ships and enjoyed drawing and labelling their favourite modes of transport. It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic and knowledgeable young learners eager to share what they knew.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly taking to the skies, without even leaving the classroom! After creating their own passports, the children boarded their imaginary Emirates flight, buckled into their seats and prepared for take-off. Their exciting journey took them from Dubai to Paris, giving everyone the chance to use their imaginations and bring their learning to life through role play.

It was a fantastic week filled with creativity, curiosity and adventure, and Reception thoroughly enjoyed every moment of their transport-themed learning.
