First House Event Shines with Annual Poetry Recital at John Moore Theatre

On Tuesday, we held our first house event of the academic year. Held at KSW’s John Moore Theatre, the annual poetry recital competition brought an electric energy as talented children took the stage, captivating the audience with a real mixture of humour and heartfelt verses.

With parents in attendance, the theatre echoed with a mix of pride, excitement, and admiration. Each young poet showcased their unique voice and creativity, transforming emotions into art with superb delivery. In what was an incredibly close competition, with only 3 points separating each house, our congratulations go to the house winners, Thomas, for their exceptional entries.

A special thanks to Ed Low, the Head of English at King’s Worcester for his expert adjudication.
