King’s St Alban’s celebrates 9.1 nursery rating

King’s St Alban’s nursery goes from strength to strength as it celebrates being in the top 5 nurseries in Worcester just 9 months after opening.

With a 9.1 parental satisfaction rating on DayNurseries.co.uk it is easy to see why the nursery at King’s St Alban’s has quickly become the pre-school setting of choice in Worcester. Opened in September 2019 the nursery is located in the modern Pre-Prep building and really is at the heart of the school. The King’s Worcester educational journey starts from 2 years old although we currently have a waiting list in place for our Cygnets class (2-3 years).

The King’s St Alban’s nursery offers year round care, with the option of term time only provision if required. Children across the nursery are able to make use of all the fabulous facilities on offer at King’s St Alban’s and regularly venture out of the extensive school grounds to make the most of the setting’s fabulous city centre location. Visits to Worcester Cathedral, walks along the scenic River Severn and trips to the Diglis Miniature Railway are all enjoyed by our pupils through-out the year.

We have a limited number of places available in our Pre-School class!

We are excited to announce that we have a limited number of pre-school places available in our beautiful nursery from September 2020. Our Swans class offers young children the ideal environment in which to prepare for the transition to Reception the following year. Pre-school children at the King’s St Alban’s nursery benefit from a wide range of opportunities including foreign language lessons, music lessons, P.E, yoga and Forest School sessions. Specialist language, music and Forest School teachers add to the experience ensuring that children really are in the best hands. The connection between our pre-school Swans class and our Reception class is strong with the younger children interacting with Reception teachers and pupils daily. A shared story time with our Reception teacher Mrs Thorp is a highlight of the week for many of our pre-school children.

If you are looking for a nursery place for your pre-school aged child then please get in contact with our Registrar, Mrs Louise Robins. We are currently offering a choice of virtual tours or private socially distanced tours.

King's St Alban's Nursery is a vibrant and happy place. Our child settled quickly and thoroughly enjoys attending. There are so many varied activities throughout the week including french sessions, forestry school and music and dance. Being located within King's St Alban's school provides access to excellent facilities and also the ability to join in with wider school activities, such as watching performances. King's St Alban's Nursery staff are caring, attentive and enthusiastic. They go above and beyond to make each day engaging and full of fun. I would highly recommend King's St Alban's Nursery.
