Young Entrepreneurs in Action: Year 6 Launch Their Business Ventures
This week, Year 6 have officially kicked off their Young Enterprise project and the classroom has been buzzing with ideas, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit!
Brimming with excitement, each team has chosen a product to sell or a service to offer at our end-of-term Summer Fayre. With creativity and collaboration at the heart of the process, pupils have carefully considered what might appeal to their target audience the children of King’s St Alban’s and carried out real market research to guide their decisions.
They’ve also been busy:
-
Creating catchy and meaningful business names
-
Designing eye-catching logos
-
Writing detailed business plans
-
Calculating costs, prices, and potential profits
Every group is now preparing for the next big step pitching their ideas to Mr Hawker in a Dragon’s Den-style presentation next week, hoping to secure a £10 start-up investment to bring their businesses to life. £10 notes at the ready!
We are already incredibly proud of how Year 6 have demonstrated key entrepreneurial skills, from critical thinking and creativity to resilience and teamwork all closely linked to our KSA characteristics.
Watch this space as their ventures take shape we can’t wait to see what they achieve!
