Year 5 Discover the Diversity of French-Speaking Countries
As part of their French topic “Où habites-tu?”, 5E have spent the past few weeks immersing themselves in the fascinating world of La France and the wider Monde Francophone.
Each student selected a French-speaking country to research in depth, creating vibrant and informative fact files that highlighted the rich diversity of the Francophone world. From the tropical wildlife of Madagascar to the snowy peaks of Switzerland, the projects covered a wide range of cultures, cuisines, climates, and natural wonders.
The students showcased their findings through a variety of creative formats, including interactive digital slideshows, colourful posters, and eye-catching displays. Their presentations reflected not only their research skills, but also their growing confidence in public speaking and their flair for design and technology.
This engaging project gave pupils a deeper understanding of the global reach of the French language and helped them make meaningful connections between language learning and world cultures. The classroom was buzzing with excitement as each presentation brought a new country to life.
Bravo, 5E! Your hard work, enthusiasm, and creativity have truly shone through. We can’t wait to see where your language journey takes you next!
