Celebrating Success Spring Term – Week 4

This week’s Celebration Assembly was a smaller affair, as we were without our Pre-Prep pupils, who were putting the finishing touches to their Christingle Service. That said, there has been plenty to celebrate this week that will make for a bumper final assembly of this half of term next week.

Year 3

The whole of 3A were recognised for their super cooperation and teamwork when writing and presenting their weather forecasts. Savannah, Poppy, Rudy and Jeremiah were all praised for always being kind and looking out for others.

Year 6

Lily G, Charlotte C and Anastasia J have used “Show Don’t Tell” to explore how a character, Harry Potter, is feeling. They’ve used figurative language and described Harry’s face, actions and voice.

6HM have been studying plate boundaries in Geography. They then went on to design a poster on either volcanoes, earthquakes or tsunamis. They looked up some interesting facts to include on their posters, and enjoyed sharing the finished posters with Mr Hawker in assembly. Well done to Alice, Ruqayyah, Lottie, Charlotte, Aaron and Joshua for their excellent posters.

Mr Hawker presented all Year Six pupils with a keyring to commemorate their success in the Senior School Entrance Tests, which took place last weekend.

School Council

School Council launched the Charity Crochet Sale that takes place next week in aid of Acorns and Worcestershire Wildlife Trust .
