Pre-Prep Get Festive in Forest School
This week, our Pre-Prep children embraced the festive spirit with some creative Christmas decorations during Forest School. Using a wonderful array of natural materials, the children combined outdoor exploration and hands-on play to create unique seasonal crafts.
The activities included slicing logs with hand saws to make sturdy bases for their decorations and painting pinecones to transform them into miniature Christmas trees. Despite the crisp, chilly air, the children were undeterred, fully embracing the outdoors while letting their imaginations run free. It was a magical way to bring the joy of the season into the school grounds, blending creativity, practical skills, and the beauty of nature. The children’s excitement and pride in their creations made the forest feel just a little more festive this week.
Well done, Pre-Prep your creativity and enthusiasm have truly brought Christmas to life in Forest School!
