New Starters’ Hot Chocolate with Mr Hawker & Mr Kent
With so many new pupils joining King’s St Alban’s in recent months, Mr Hawker and Mr Kent were delighted to bring them together for a special hot chocolate and cookies gathering.
This relaxed and friendly occasion provided the perfect opportunity to hear how our new starters have been settling in, what they have been enjoying most, and what has stood out to them so far. It was wonderful to hear such positive feedback, with pupils speaking enthusiastically about sport and swimming, the wide range of exciting clubs on offer, and, most importantly, the friendships they have already formed.
Many shared how welcomed they have felt by their classmates and how quickly they have become part of the school community, something we are incredibly proud of.
The conversation was lively and full of personality, with pupils keen to turn the tables and quiz Mr Kent on his favourite food and desserts, while Mr Hawker was asked about the possibility of a “bring your pet to school” day an idea that certainly sparked plenty of excitement!
It was a joy to see our new starters so happy, confident, and fully engaged in school life. We look forward to watching them continue to flourish in the months ahead.
