Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

Reception Launch ‘Ready, Steady, Grow!’ Topic

Reception have made a wonderful start to their new topic, ‘Ready, Steady, Grow!’ with a week full of excitement and discovery.

On Monday, the children were thrilled to receive a very special delivery, chicken eggs! These are now safely in the incubator, and everyone is eagerly counting down the days until they begin to hatch.

Our learning this week has been inspired by the much-loved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The children have enjoyed a range of creative activities, including making colourful butterflies, building a class caterpillar, and talking about their favourite foods.

Taking advantage of the beautiful sunshine, the children have also explored the school campus and riverside, searching for signs of spring. It has been a fantastic start to the topic, with plenty more growing, learning, and excitement to come!
