Cathedral Choristers Take on the Great Birmingham Run

In just a few weeks’ time, a group of our young Cathedral Choir Choristers, including Bertie, Daniel, Geoffrey and Alice as well as Jackson (former KSA and now in L4 at KSW), will be taking on an exciting challenge as they participate in the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Birmingham Run on 2 May 2026.

The choristers will be running to raise funds for both Worcester Cathedral and the Worcester Cathedral Choristers Association (WCCA). The WCCA plays a vital role in supporting the mission and ministry of the Cathedral, assisting the Cathedral Choir, Voluntary Choir, and Youth Choir, as well as providing valuable support to choristers and their families.

The group is aiming to raise at least £500, with funds being shared equally between the WCCA and the wider Cathedral music department, helping to support the areas where it is needed most.
