Hands-On Maths Fun in Year 5
Year 5 pupils had an exciting and memorable maths lesson this week as they explored angles through a practical investigation, complete with the rare opportunity to draw on the tables!
Pupils worked collaboratively to measure, draw, and investigate different angles, using the table surfaces to map out their ideas and test their understanding. This hands-on approach brought their learning to life and encouraged discussion, problem-solving, and teamwork. The classroom was filled with enthusiasm as pupils confidently applied their knowledge and discovered new relationships between angles. It was fantastic to see such engagement and curiosity in maths.
A brilliant effort from Year 5, well done!
