Artistic Inspirations in Year 4
Year 4 pupils have been exploring the beauty of the natural world through art by studying a range of real shells. They carefully observed the shapes, patterns, and textures, developing their sketching skills and attention to detail.
Building on this, pupils are now creating stunning semi-abstract acrylic paintings inspired by the work of New Zealand artist America Gale. They have been experimenting with colour, form, and composition to produce imaginative and expressive pieces.
It has been wonderful to see their creativity flourish as they interpret natural objects in unique and artistic ways. We look forward to seeing their finished masterpieces!
