Bringing Dialogue to Life in Year 3
In Year 3, pupils have been learning all about speech marks (inverted commas) and the important rules involved in writing dialogue. To make the lesson fun and engaging, pupils worked together with their chosen soft toys to create imaginative conversations and bring their ideas to life.
Using the skills they had learned, pupils carefully wrote the dialogue between their soft toys in their books before performing their conversations to the rest of the class. The creative scenarios included everything from a day at the beach, to a trip to Benedictos for food, and even an adventure to Jupiter!
The classroom was filled with laughter, creativity, and confidence as pupils enjoyed sharing their imaginative ideas. It was wonderful to see learning brought to life in such a fun and memorable way.
