Junior Journalists Dive into Sports Reporting for recent Aquathlon

This week in After School Club, our Junior Journalists have been putting their reporting skills into action. Year 5 pupil Max C wrote an exciting article about his experience competing in a recent Aquathlon, a fantastic event which saw KSA crowned overall winners!

Through his writing, Max captured the energy, determination, and team spirit of the competition, giving readers a brilliant insight into the excitement of race day.

Let’s go on to Saturday 16th of May this is when the aquathlon took place. The people that took part follow as Max c, Romy, Nell, Thea, Harvy, Bertie, Dylan, Elodie, Elizabeth and Jacob Some of the schools that competed in this race were The Downs Malvern, RGS the Grange, KSA, KSW, KSH and Millfield.

I felt like this experience was inspiring breathtaking and challenging. In this race I had some moments when I thought I couldn’t do it, but I persevered through those times and pushed through those times. Overall the winning team was us winning all of the races that took place, leaving us with a massive trophy and pure joy of winning this great event.

I enjoyed this event a lot and would be happy to take part in another race. If I had to improve, I would try to push even harder on the hill or at the end of the 4 lengths swimming. I felt especially happy when I received a chocolate chip cookie at the end.
