Celebrating a Fantastic First Week

Our first celebration assembly of the year was a joyful occasion, where we were all excited to hear about each other’s achievements over the summer as well as reflect on a fantastic first week at Hawford.

Summer achievements outside school

Theodore T and Arthur C completed their first triathlon in Birmingham, comprising a 50m swim, 2km cycle and 1km run. Together, they raised more than £1,000 for the school charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.

Theodore T secured second place in a competition at The Grove Golf Club.

Elliott E helped Mighty Inkberrow Eagles U9 win the Chaddesley football tournament.

Cassian W achieved fourth place in the Cheltenham Triathlon, his first event in the discipline.

Nancy E completed Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme over two months.

Iona P won the 70cm jumping category at an equestrian competition and also earned several rosettes for dog and pony handling.
