Year 6 Ready for an Exciting Year Ahead
6B have made a fantastic start to Year 6, returning with enthusiasm, confidence and a positive attitude towards the year ahead. We are delighted to welcome Ugne and Amber C to the class, who have settled into the School community seamlessly and are already embracing all that school life has to offer.
It has been a busy and productive week, with the children diving straight into their learning. They have enjoyed writing their first creative stories of the year, showcasing their imagination and developing their writing skills. We have also begun our new class reader, Street Child by Berlie Doherty. Through this powerful story, the children will explore the Victorian period and develop a deeper understanding of what life was like for children living during this time.
Looking ahead, the children will be completing their application forms this weekend for any prefect positions they would like to apply for. This is an exciting opportunity for them to demonstrate their leadership skills, responsibility and commitment to the school community.
After such a busy and successful week, we hope 6B enjoy a well-deserved rest this weekend. They have made a wonderful start to Year 6, and we are looking forward to all that the year ahead will bring!
