World War One Comes to Life for Year 6

Year 6 enjoyed an unforgettable World War One Workshop with Time Travel Education this week.

With a perfect balance of military precision and humour, the day brought the Great War to life, with every child engaged and inspired throughout the sessions.

Guided by Sergeant Parsons, pupils experienced army drills, discovered how people were recruited to the war effort, and examined World War One artefacts like real historians.

They even used Virtual Reality to explore the trenches and experience life on the front line as a British soldier. A truly immersive day that brought history to life for all!

The children found the WW1 day a fascinating experience, sparking curiosity and empathy and bringing our vibrant Humanities curriculum to life.
