A Celebration of Creativity Across the School

Art has been bursting with colour and imagination across the school this week, with pupils in every year group exploring their creativity through a wonderful range of inspiring projects. In Art Club, pupils have been busy painting a striking image of Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia, focusing on detail, texture and atmosphere to bring this iconic character to life.

In Year 6, pupils have been working on artwork inspired by planets, using colour, pattern and technique to capture the vastness and mystery of space. Year 3 artists are putting the finishing touches to their circus-inspired abstract artwork, using flowing lines, bold shapes and vibrant colours to represent movement, performance and energy under the big top.

Meanwhile, Year 4 have been creating detailed paintings of mushrooms and toadstools, designed for a ‘witches’ potion theme. Their work shows careful observation and imaginative use of colour, resulting in some wonderfully atmospheric pieces. Over in Year 2, pupils celebrated Chinese New Year by making colourful horses, combining cultural learning with creativity and craftsmanship.

It has been fantastic to see such a wide variety of artistic styles, themes and techniques on display across the school. We look forward to seeing these exciting pieces shared and celebrated as they are completed.
