A Colourful Week in Art

It has been a wonderfully busy and creative week in the art room, with pupils across the school producing some fantastic work.

Year 3 have been creating vibrant pieces inspired by The Greatest Showman, experimenting with bold colours, dynamic shapes and lively compositions to capture the excitement and energy of the show. Their artwork is full of movement and colour, reflecting the theatrical spirit of the theme.

Meanwhile, Year 6 have been exploring a very different source of inspiration with their striking artwork based on the iconic Star Wars universe. Their pieces feature dramatic contrasts, imaginative designs and impressive attention to detail, bringing some of their favourite characters and scenes to life.

Both year groups have been creating their artwork as part of Creative Connexions, and it has been wonderful to see so much creativity, enthusiasm and individuality shining through in their work. The results are colourful, imaginative and a fantastic celebration of pupils’ artistic talents.
