A December Full of Stories at King’s St Alban’s

This December, excitement has been building each morning as our King’s St Alban’s Book Advent Calendar spread joy across the school. Each morning, a wrapped book has been delivered to a different classroom, where pupils eagerly gathered to unwrap the day’s surprise. The delight on their faces has been wonderful to see and every class has enjoyed the anticipation, the big reveal and of course, settling down to share the new story together.

Alongside this, our school library has also received a selection of fresh titles to inspire even more reading adventures. From beautifully illustrated picture books to gripping chapter books, these new additions are already catching pupils’ eyes and sparking lots of excitement.

The Book Advent Calendar has been a lovely way to celebrate reading during the festive season, encouraging pupils to discover new authors, explore different genres and enjoy the simple pleasure of a good book.
