A Season of Giving: Our Reverse Advent Calendar in Action

As we approach the festive season, the spirit of generosity and community has been shining brightly at King’s St Alban’s. Throughout December, our school community has been collecting thoughtful donations, helping to provide vital support to those in need across our local area. We are incredibly grateful to all families who contributed to our Reverse Advent Calendar, supporting the Worcester Foodbank.

This initiative is a wonderful reminder of the importance of thinking beyond ourselves, particularly at Christmas, a time when we reflect on gratitude, kindness, and the joy of giving. By taking part, our pupils have learned firsthand the impact that small acts of generosity can have, developing a deeper sense of empathy and awareness of the wider community.

The Reverse Advent Calendar not only helps those in need, but it also fosters a culture of compassion and care within our school. It encourages children to appreciate what they have while understanding the importance of helping others, instilling values that will stay with them long after the festive season ends.

We would like to extend a thank you to the entire King’s St Alban’s community for your generosity, kindness, and support. Your contributions have made a real difference, and we are proud to see our pupils embracing the true spirit of Christmas in such a meaningful way.
