A Wonderful Harvest Festival at Worcester Cathedral
This morning, our school community came together for a truly memorable Harvest Festival Assembly at Worcester Cathedral. The service was filled with joy, reflection and celebration, as pupils, staff and families joined to mark this special occasion.
Dr. Dorsett delivered a thoughtful and inspiring message about the importance of kindness and the power of our words, reminding us all of how simple acts of consideration can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Our pupils played an important role throughout the assembly. Readings and prayers were delivered with poise and confidence by Head Boy Ben, Head Girl Martha, House Prefect Hannah, and Academic Prefect Joshua, setting a wonderful example for their peers.
The musical contributions were equally impressive. Our Pre-Prep pupils sang with remarkable confidence and joy, their voices filling the cathedral and bringing smiles to the faces of family and friends. Our Prep pupils also sang the hymns beautifully, and we are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, confidence, and joy demonstrated by everyone.
We would also like to extend our thanks for the generous food donations received from the King’s St Alban’s community. These contributions have been passed on to Maggs Day Centre, supporting those in our local community and embodying the true spirit of Harvest.
It was a morning of celebration, reflection and community, and a reminder of how important it is to come together, give thanks, and show kindness.
