Announcing Our New Prefects and Heads of School!
We are excited to announce the appointment of our new Prefects and Heads of School! These leadership roles will be held by our Year 6 students, with each position lasting for half the academic year.
The role of a prefect is an essential part of our school community. It offers students valuable leadership opportunities while allowing them to make a positive impact on the school environment. As role models, prefects help to foster a culture of responsibility, communication, and teamwork—key life skills that will support their future academic and professional success.
Our new prefects will take on a variety of important responsibilities. From assisting with school events and ensuring daily activities run smoothly, to mentoring younger students and promoting a sense of community, they will have a direct influence on the school’s atmosphere. Through their leadership, our prefects inspire younger students to set high standards for themselves, encouraging them to aim for similar roles in the future.
In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, the prefect role at King’s St Alban’s offers students the opportunity to develop critical decision-making and problem-solving skills. By handling situations independently or as part of a team, they can help drive positive change and contribute to the overall well-being of the school.
