Another meritorious week for our pupils
In today’s assembly we celebrated yet another meritorious week for our pupils. Despite this being the penultimate week of term, our pupils are showing no signs of slowing down. There was plenty to celebrate today!
Success Outside of School
Connie C (Y2) has been working tremendously hard in her swimming lessons outside of school. Her hard work has really paid off and Connie is now the proud recipient of a Level 3 ASA Learn to Swim Award: well done Connie!

Headmaster Awards (HMAs)
Well done to Iza MP, Pippa P, Thomas C, Barnaby J and Freddie B who all achieved 61/61 on their end of unit French assessment.
Cameron H-T received a HMA for his brilliant creative writing which tool the form of a diary entry.
Issie F’s work in the text Journey to River Sea earnt her as HMA.
Year 6 pupils have produced some very informative posters in humanities focusing on WWI. Hudson M and Rose G impressed with their well presented work.
Jude R’s linguistic abilities earned him a visit to Mr Butt’s office. Jude achieved full marks in both his French and German end of unit assessments.
Reception are flying high with their Space topic. Florence J and Poppy B have produced some excellent independent writing this week. Mrs Beech has been very impressed with William R’s increased confidence in the pool – well done William!
Sing and Sign Club
Today’s assembly finished with a brilliant performance by the Reception and Year 1 Sing and Sign Club. The children treated the audience to the Colours of the Rainbow song. The children performed with confidence, signing and singing clearly. An excellent effort Reception and Year 1.

Superstar Awards:
Year 2:
Ellie H was 2OR’s Superstar of the week after performing very well on her maths assessment. Ferne B took the honours for 2RM gaining top marks on both of the assessment papers she sat this week.
Year 1:
In 1VL Perle got full marks on her maths assessment to land the Superstar of the week award for her class. Alex V has had an all round excellent week in 1JR.
Reception:
Sovaan has shown great in improvement in his writing and is the Reception Superstar of the week.
