Back to Forest School Fun!

It was wonderful to be back in the great outdoors this week, as always, the children threw themselves wholeheartedly into imaginative play, working together beautifully, showing kindness and supporting one another throughout their explorations.

There was plenty of creative fun to be had, mud balls were mixed, leafy masterpieces designed, and some enthusiastic gardeners lent Mrs Ciano a hand digging up soil for the new digging tubs. The outdoor kitchen was also in full swing, with lots of delicious (if slightly muddy!) cooking creations being whipped up over the campfire area.

A special mention must go to the new giant-sized colander, which caused endless laughter and excitement. A group of inventive Year 1 girls decided it made the perfect woodland sled, testing out whether it could slide down the slope into the bushes!

It was a week filled with curious exploring, reminding us once again of the joy that comes from learning outside the classroom. The children’s enthusiasm and imagination never fail to make Forest School such a magical place to be.
