Book Fair Brings Excitement and a Love for Reading to KSA
As always, the arrival of the Book Fair this week sparked a wave of excitement across the school! It’s heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm for books and reading, as children eagerly browsed the selection, discussing with friends what they wanted to buy.
The joy on their faces as they discovered new titles and shared recommendations with one another is a true testament to the vibrant reading culture we’ve cultivated at King’s St Alban’s.
We’ve always been incredibly proud of the reading environment at KSA, where books are celebrated, and the Book Fair only serves to amplify that energy. It’s a wonderful reminder of how deeply engaged our pupils are with literature, and how important it is to continue nurturing this passion. Seeing children so invested in choosing their next read reflects the foundation we’ve built in fostering a lifelong love of reading, both inside and outside the classroom.
Another exciting aspect of the Book Fair is the commission we receive from the sales. Thanks to the support of our families, we’re able to reinvest this commission into expanding our library with new and diverse titles. This year, we’re especially excited to add a wider range of books to suit all reading levels and interests, further enriching the resources available to our pupils.
The Book Fair not only brings new stories to explore but also strengthens the bond between our school community and the world of reading. We look forward to continuing to build on this success and can’t wait to see the new books added to our library, sparking even more enthusiasm for reading among our pupils. Thank you to everyone who supported the fair.
