Cathedral Lunchtime Concert
On Thursday lunchtime, eleven pupils in Years 4 and 5 attended a concert in Worcester Cathedral. They enjoyed listening to works by composers as diverse and as Britten, Pärt, Brahms and Whitacre performed by the King’s School Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Choir. Inspite of the unfamiliarity of the programme, the children clearly enjoyed themselves, sitting spell-bound throughout. This was a lovely opportunity for them to hear senior ensembles perform, giving them a taste of want is on offer for them musically as they progress through the school.
