Celebrating a Wonderful Year at the Pre-Prep Summer Show and Prize Giving

This week, families gathered in College Hall for the much-anticipated Pre-Prep Summer Show and Prize Giving, a joyful celebration of the children’s achievements and learning throughout the year.

Centred around this term’s topic of Africa, the afternoon showcased the creativity, enthusiasm and hard work of our pupils. From vibrant artwork displays to energetic songs and dances, the children delighted their audience as they shared all they had discovered and enjoyed during their topic work.

One of the standout moments of the afternoon was hearing pupils reflect on their favourite memories from the year. It was wonderful to see so many children confidently step forward, take the microphone and speak in front of a packed hall. Their confidence and individuality shone through, making it a truly special part of the celebration.

The event also provided an opportunity to recognise and celebrate individual achievements. Our Pre School pupils were presented with certificates acknowledging a wide range of wonderful qualities, including kindness, friendship and positivity. As they prepare to leave Nursery and begin their Reception journey, it was a lovely moment to celebrate the unique contribution each child has made.

Our Year 2 pupils were also presented with certificates recognising their achievements and successes throughout the year. As they prepare to take their next exciting step into the Prep Department and Year 3, it was a fitting opportunity to celebrate all they have accomplished and wish them every success for the future.
