Celebrating Fundraising Success and Promoting Water Safety

We were thrilled to welcome James Long, the Head of Community Development from The Royal Life Saving Society, to our school this week. James visited us to personally thank our children for their incredible fundraising efforts, which raised a remarkable £3510. This generous contribution will have a significant impact, and James was eager to share with the children how their hard-earned money will be put to good use.

During his visit, James provided inspiring examples of how the funds will be allocated. He mentioned that the money will go towards educating and training people in vital life-saving skills. Most importantly, he emphasized that the funds raised will directly contribute to saving someone’s life. This powerful message resonated with the children, highlighting the real impact of their efforts.

James also took the opportunity to remind the children about the importance of water safety. He shared essential tips and advice on how to stay safe around water, reinforcing the critical work of The Royal Life Saving Society. The children listened carefully, gaining valuable knowledge that will help them and their families stay safe in and around water.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their dedication and hard work in raising such a significant amount of money for a worthy cause. Their efforts not only support life-saving initiatives but also foster a sense of community and responsibility. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with The Royal Life Saving Society and supporting their vital work in promoting water safety. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.
