Celebrating Our New Prefects and Heads of School

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Prefects and Heads of School. These leadership positions, proudly held by our Year 6 pupils, will run for half of the school year and provide a fantastic opportunity for our oldest students to play a key role in school life.

Being a prefect is both an honour and a responsibility. It gives children the chance to develop their leadership skills while making a meaningful contribution to the wider school community. As positive role models, prefects help to promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and teamwork, qualities that will serve them well both inside and outside the classroom. Our prefects will take on a variety of roles, from supporting staff with the smooth running of school events, to mentoring younger pupils and helping to create a warm, welcoming environment for all. In doing so, they inspire others to set high standards, encouraging younger pupils to aspire to these positions in the future.

Beyond their day-to-day duties, these roles also allow pupils to strengthen vital skills such as communication, organisation, decision-making, and problem-solving. Whether working independently or as part of a team, they will have opportunities to show initiative, develop confidence, and make a real difference to school life.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupils for stepping up to these responsibilities with such enthusiasm and commitment. Congratulations to the following students on their appointments, we know you will do a wonderful job!
