Celebrating Success Autumn Term Week 12

Today we were delighted to welcome Mr Low, Head of English at the Senior School, to Assembly. Mr Low was with us to announce the winners of the Year Six Spooky Stories Competition.

Congratulations to the following pupils, who were all shortlisted:

Pre-Prep Super Star Awards:

Well done to Ben P (1C) and Adel (Rec), who were awarded certificates for Focus. This week’s Pre-Prep Superstars were Luna H (2F), Ivan (2F), Alice P (1C) and Maisie (Rec).

Reception:

The children were congratulated on their recent work in French, where they have been working hard on naming colours and identifying parts of the body. The children also created some lovely gingerbread men. Well done to Barney, Adel and Alice, who shared their creations with the school in Assembly. The children have also been getting crafty, as they took turns to draw around one another before decorating each as a penguin!

Year 1:

All of the children have worked hard all term. Rory, Theo and Geoffy were invited to share their beautiful Christmas-card creations with the everyone in Assembly. Coco and Ben have produced artwork inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

All of Pre-Prep were congratulated on their outstanding performances in the Nativity.

Times Tables Certificates:

Mr Chapman was delighted to award 24 certificates in today’s assembly.

4R:

Mr Chapman congratulated 4R on their fantastic work ethic: all pupils are taking great pride in their work; congratulations on a great first term.

Year 4 Handwriting Certificates:

Mr Chapman was delighted to award six Handwriting Hero Certificates.
