Superstar Awards were presented to Alice D in Reception, for determination with her independent writing, and Fearne W, for being so enthusiastic and engaged in the “Ready, Steady, Grow” topic. In Year One, Alice P has been giving every activity her all, and Winston L has been trying to record his sentence ideas more independently. Congratulations to all our Pre-Prep Superstars!
Year One celebrated Mikaeel L, for working so hard on his pirate wanted poster, Lakshmi S, for her fantastic accurate writing when creating a deep-sea-diver diary, and Molly P, for her fantastic focus when writing her deep-sea-diver diary.
All of Year Two received a Commendation Award for super teamwork and risk-taking on their recent Malvern residential trip to the Boundless Outdoor Centre.
Year Three have been enjoying dissecting flowers during their recent science lessons; they were all commended today for their excellent curiosity and focus, and for using quite challenging scientific vocabulary. Keep up the good work, Year Three!
We were treated to a wonderful display of GYM Homework from Year Three. With a focus on the upcoming Paris Olympics, pupils had made a wide range of items including medals, informative posters and Lego structures. Congratulations to Maddie, Amber, George, Poppy, Dylan, and Matthew, who all received Commendation Awards for their work.
Headmaster’s Awards
Reception have been thoroughly enjoying The Ladybird who Heard, and recently it was their turn to write about what they thought the ladybird had heard. Mr Hawker congratulated four pupils who had produced beautiful independent writing.
