Celebration Assembly

This morning’s assembly focussed on the work of the NSPCC and today’s Number Day activities.  There was, however, still time to award Superstar certificates to Zack, for great effort and concentration, to Poppy for setting a great example to her peers and to Marnie for always giving 100% effort in everything she does.  Greta received an Independence certificate for her work on 2, 5 and 10 times tables,  George received a Risk Taking certificate for being willing to try new things in swimming lessons and Mia earned a Focus certificate for super concentration during writing activities.  Well done all of you!

Mrs Rickets organised a science competition all about British wildlife and today we announced the two prize winners. Well done to Georgia, who made an superb poster and model of her favourite British animal, the owl.   Lily-Mae loves hedgehogs and she made a fantastic hedgehog cake – which it seems went down very well!
