Celebration Assembly: A Bumper Week of Success!

As we approach the end of this half-term, the incredible achievements we have seen across the school have truly been something to celebrate. This week has been no exception, showcasing a remarkable array of successes and shining examples of hard work, dedication, and talent. It’s been a bumper week filled with accomplishments, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our pupils.

Commendation Awards

  • Oscar M (RCT) – Consistently making great choices and showing excellent teamwork with his friends.
  • Chloe F (1C) – For being such a kind and helpful member of the class.

 

  • Rory H (2F) – Making a huge effort and improvement with his phonics work.
  • Ben J, Skye F, Uriah G, Zara W, Arlo F, and Izzy H – For an outstanding job as tour guides during the Open Morning.
  • Amber J (4R) – Creating a poster independently, showing great initiative.
  • Haadi F (4J) – Producing a detailed and thoughtful experimental write-up.

 

 

  • Sofia B (4J) – Hard work in improving her handwriting.
  • Fearne W (1C) – For showing exceptional care and attention in her artwork.

 

 

  • Alice D (1C) – Great focus and independence in creative writing tasks.
  • Emilia M (6P) – Perseverance in learning times tables and mastering multiplication by 2-digit numbers.
  • Harry D (6HM), Isy G (6P), Luca (6P) – For their dedication to learning their weekly spellings.
  • Arlo F, Ivy C, Isabelle H, Will B (6HM) – Outstanding French homework, creating French conversations in comic strip style.
  • Izzy R (6P) – Consistently producing high-quality work in history lessons.

Headmaster’s Award

  • Tilly E (6HM) – For her first-class work in French, demonstrating 100% focus, excellent memory for new words, and an advanced level of accuracy in her comic strip writing task. Bravo, Tilly!

Out of School Awards

  • George C (6HM) – 1st place in the Golf Sixes League – an amazing accomplishment!
  • Kitty S (1C) – Congratulations on earning your swimming certificate!

Our Sports Prefects, Zara and Ben, had the pleasure of congratulating our hockey players on their fantastic performances throughout the week.

  • Year 3 & 4 Girls teamed up with King’s Hawford for a mixed foundation tournament and delivered an exceptional performance, with several players earning ‘Player of the Match’ awards.
  • U10 Hockey Team performed brilliantly at the RGS tournament, finishing in joint second place—a fantastic achievement!
  • U11 Girls competed in the IAPS hockey tournament and showed remarkable resilience and improvement throughout, representing the school with pride and playing with determination.

A huge well done to everyone involved, keep up the amazing work!

 

 

Our House Prefects Georgia and Jake were excited to announce the all-important House Points update! Every point earned reflects the dedication of our pupils, and it’s fantastic to see such healthy competition and collaboration. Keep up the fantastic work everyone, we look forward to the House Points update next half-term.
